Bay Lake Tower Mickey Lithograph

I've been meaning to post this since I got back- we stayed last weekend and one of the Mickey lithographs was left in the room for us on the credenza under the TV (along with the brochure for a bounceback offer - lol - didn't need that!) I was pleasantly surprised. I had assumed these were only given to the guests closer to opening day. Are they giving them away til they run out? Who else has gotten one at check in? Just curious.

We stayed in August and were lucky enough to get a lithograph as well. We, too, have had it matted and framed. It looks awesome!!!

We were there in early September and didn't get one. Perhaps there was one placed in each room and you happened to be the first guest in your room (as more is sold more rooms are opened ?) ??

We got one for our stay in late August. We were definitely NOT the first to stay in the room, as I found a Transformer toy in one of the dresser drawers that was left by a previous guest.

I guess I'll just consider myself lucky - I will definitely get it matted and framed. Now if I could only get one of the matching Minnie lithographs : )

I'm here now and we got "A Gift Worth Framing" I assume that is what you are talking about. It just looks like a piece of cardboard nothing real special. I'm mean it is free so I'm not complaining and have plans to throw it in a frame and hang it downstairs.

Yes, that's it. Yes it may be cardboard but I really like it.

There are a couple listed on Ebay. One guy wants $79.99 for it on a "Buy it Now." The others are currently at $5 and $19.99 respectively in auctions.

Last week-end we went to the Chicago Doorway to Dreams 2nd anniversary.
If it's a golden yellow back ground with a black sketch of Mickey's face that's a copy of the print that hangs over the bed at BLT, they gave a framed one to us for adding on points. Plus got an unframed one for a referal.

Yep...we are fortunate to have a Mickey & a Minnie hanging in our living room We were there opening day and received both.

I bought one for $35 plus shipping off of ebay. I'm sure I overpaid but I had to have it! I won't get to BLT for a year or so!!!

OK, don't laugh at me. I had just bought my BLT DVC and was all hyped up when the Lith's hit ebay. I paid $170 for Mickey and $180 for Minnie (which was really hard to find - only 2 posted so far!) So make fun - go ahead - there is a sucker born every day - and that would be me! Really, I wanted them and they looked great framed and hung flanking a huge WDW picture I had bought in DTD over the summer, so I am really not toooo upset!

I haven't seen the Minnie version of the lithographs. Care to post a picture of it? I want one of the Mickey Mouse lithographs, but won't stay at BLT till 2011...looks like ebay for me!

If you have the money to spend and you want it, then I say more power to you. I think we have all over paid for something others thought was too much but if it brings joy to you then it is worth the price.
I saw the listing on ebay for $79 or make an offer. Maybe they will give some away when I stay in November.
