Bay Lake Tower artwork

Hi all

We loved the BLT artwork in the model units (the pop art / Andy Warhol style canvasses of Space Mountain for example).

Our guide said there had been a lot of interest from members who would like to purchase these.

Has anyone heard whether these will be offered when BLT opens? I am hoping to see some BLT specific merchandise but have no idea if these are likely (or unlikely!) to be offered for sale.

If anyone has heard anything, I'd love to hear it

They have already produced some. We stayed at Poly Conc. In January 2009 and one of the in room gifts was a print of the Mickey Artwork that will be in the BLT rooms. I am sure when they open they will be available to resort guests.

What? We will be there next month - what kind of in room gift is that? Before it was a painted chocolate bar and I heard they quit doing that recently! I loved that artwork in the BLT models! Please tell more!

We were scheduled at the Poly MK view in January 2009. When we checked in we were upgraded to Concerige. When we got to our room there was an 8x10 copy of the Mickey Artwork that is over the bed in the studio. I don't know why we got it, there was only a short note saying it was a gift from DVC.

I know this is an old thread but just wondering if anyone knew where to buy the Space Mountain Warhol prints? I just adore them! Thanks in advance!!

I haven't seen them available for sell. Some guests that stayed at BLT when it first opened were given copies of the Mickey or Minnie print. And sometimes you will see one of them for sell on Ebay.

We won ours of Mickey at a DVC presentation by Doorway to Dreams here in Chicago when it was still open.

It is framed beautifully in a black frame, my son won it and it's hanging in our dining room until he has a place of his own.
