We are leaving this Saturday, renting a car to visit family, returning it Sunday to the Car Care Center. Just realized we haven't planned for the return trip to the airport. We just need an inexpensive way, and figured you all would know best. Family of 4, kids are 22 and 18. Thanks!

Are you staying onsite after you drop off the car?

We are staying at Bay Lake and will only have the car for about 24 hours. We just don't use one when we're there. So dropping it off at MCO won't work. Looks like a cab may be the plan. Just was wondering if there were other (cheaper) options.

don't understand? sounds like you will be at BLT and heading home. Are you flying out of MCO?

Oh, you're renting for your drive down?

Are you staying onsite?
We are flying down, renting a car to visit some family and stay the night with them, then returning our rental car to CCC and starting our vacation. Just need to get back to the airport for the return.

Yes. Arriving the 12th in Orlando. Checking in to BLT the 13th. Flying back to Chicago from Orlando on the 18th.

I wasn't sure if you could take it one way...we will probably just figure it out once we are there.

Great! Thanks for sharing. We've done it before, but round trip. I wondered if that was an option. Thanks again.

after you check in at BLT go over to the concierges desk and tell them you want DME for when you check out. You can not add DME the day you leave it has to be at least a day before.

We have taken DME one way many times. I would call and reserve it before your trip. It will put your mind at ease before your trip and you will not have to worry about it during your trip.

The car rental and Car Care Center are irrelevant. You're not just staying in Bay Lake. (Bay Lake and Lake Buena Vista are two towns that comprise Walt Disney World.) You're staying at Disney's Bay Lake Tower, the DVC component of Disney's Contemporary Resort. I assume you're staying with DVC points.

Call DVC Member Services. Have your outbound flight information. Book one-way Disney's Magical Express transportation for your check-out date. Do it now, before you start traveling; that way you'll be in the system and you'll have one less thing to worry about on vacation.

You'll get a letter with your pick-up time the day before your check-out. It will be approx. 3 hours before your scheduled flight departure.

If you airline participates in Resort Airline Check-in (all major airlines with flight to Chicago participate), be sure to take use this incredibly convenient "curbside skycap" service to check your bags and get your boarding passes at your resort.

Thanks for understanding me. Yes, DVC BLT. Great information that we will use. Thanks!
