Hi. So we are now going on a triple stay.. lol
5 nights in each
We are all set with the recommendations on a room for Bay lake theme park view

What would you recommend for preferred Rivera in a 1 bedroom . I just asked for a high floor.

Grand Floridian standard view studio

Thank you all

8226 has a really nice view. I agree to go for a higher floor and request an even-numbered room.

All TPV rooms are even numbers so no need to add that. When booking LV, that is a good request if one hopes to get a glimpse of MK as some do have it,

With a VGF standard studio, you might have

  1. a view of the main hotel plus the pool area and a bit of the monorail. These might have a sideways view of the MK fireworks.
  2. Or you might have a view of the Spa, the Wedding Pavilion, the Shades of Green Golf Course, the parking area, the Poly, and a full view of the monorail.
  3. In category one there are 1 or 2 rooms that have a straight ahead view of the fireworks. These are very difficult to get. I got one last year by luck. With these you will not be able to see the monorail.
The bottom line is that just about every standard view at VGF is great. My family likes both sides. The one exception is that there is one room in the 2nd floor that has a close up view of the Porte Cochere. To avoid this room, I always ask for an upper floor.
