Batteries for digital camera.

Since I have seen post on digital cameras I would like some help in deciding the answer to the question. I have noticed with my Fuji digital camera it uses allot of batteries. And I have noticed even though the battery light has not come on, if the batteries area at a weaken state the camera works terrible. So which option should I go? I noticed Energizer has these e-lithium batteries for digital cameras. They are very expensive but I found them today at Sams Club 12 batteries for 20 dollars. Or should I go the battery charger way and pay 27 dollars for a Energizer battery charger with 4 double AA batteries. I figured with 4 batteries I could take them with me and have 2 sets for the day, or would I need more than 4? I know there are more experienced users out there than me with digital cameras but I want to be prepared for this trip in July. Thanks

I use rechargeable batteries for my camera. I love not having to buy and carry extra batteries. I just bring the lightweight charger with me and recharge the batteries every other night.

I bought enough for 2 sets of batteries, but I really did not need to buy that many. The new 15 minute rechargables really do charge up that fast. I love mine, they are great, the charging unit is very light weight too. The best option I've tried so far.

I second getting a battery charger for camera. The camera use alot battery.

rechargeable lover here. I have 8 batteries for my digital. I have 4 on the charger at all times, and 2 in the camera and 2 on standby in my bag. That way, I'll never run out of juice.

Get the 15 minute one. Sam's Club has the units there. They came out about 3 weeks (seriously!!) after I bought my one hour charger!!!

Check out http://www.nimhbattery.com They have more chargers and rechargeable batteries than anyone anywhere or so it seems. I have used them myself and been very happy with their service.

I second GoldenOldie's recommendation for nimhbattery.com (aka Thomas Distributing).

I purchased the Powerex batteries and charger by MAHA Energy for my digital camera from them back in December and have been very pleased. They are expensive, but will save you money in the long run.
