of course I'll make the kids go before we leave the resort, but they are 5 and 3. So is there a bathroom available?

not sure about once you get in for the preopening show but there is a small one outside the gates if I remember correctly. even if there are open one in the front of park not sure you could get thru the crowd to reach it until opening show ends

There is a bathroom after bag check, but b fore you actually scan your band to enter the park. We always had my kids use the bathroom before we left the resort, then we always went to the bathroom again right when we arrived at the park before actually entering with our magicbands.

The bad part is here that, if you've already scanned your band and gone through to the area where they hold you for the welcome show, you have to exit the entrance points and go back out for the bathroom. This means, unless you get a super nice cast member who is willing to break the rules for you, you have to go back through the scanners again to get back in.

Good to know!

That is not a huge deal at all. If you look at the map, the bathrooms are right there next to guest relations.

I've done it with my son many many times over the years and it most certainlhy can be a big pain when there are long lines of people waiting to get in and you have to wait behind all of them again while they try to figure out how the magic bands and tapstiles work.
