Are you allowed to wear bathing suits on Kali River Rapids?:confused3 I read somewhere that you have to have shoes on but what other requirements do they have?

TIA

you can wear bathing suit under you clothes if you want to...

but you also have to have shirt/pants/shoes on. No just-a-bathing-suit & flip flops allowed.

So could my dd wear just her bating suit and cover-up w/ flip-flops and ds swim trunks and t-shirt?

I can testify to the fact that it depends on the CM working at the loading dock. When we rode last week, there was a grown man (40s or 50s) in the raft in front of us that rode with his SHIRT OFF!!!!!!

Come on people . . . . this is WDW, not Six Flags!

I think they sound allow people to wear swim suits because you get so soaked. Or if you are me who always is the person going backwards. I have gone on this ride 4 times and have always been backwards. I will no longer go on because you get so wet. I have even tried to have it our last ride of the day but it is still uncomfortable. I'm passing on the next trip.

This is what we (actually my husband) did in June.....................

He wore a swimsuit and a T shirt. We hit Dinosaur and K. Safari first and he then he swapped out his tennis shoes for flip flops. His Mom held his stuff. We went on the rapids, got soaked, and then he changed in a nearby restroom. He just carried his wet clothes in a ziplock bag and placed it in his backpack. No one said a thing to him and the rest of the day he was dry and happy. I just toughed it out with wet clothes until we left at about lunchtime. We arrived for am emh and had completed our tour pretty quickly.

I agree, I made the mistake of riding a rapids ride with a t-shirt and shorts in 2006 at another park. I was soaked the rest of the day and it was very uncomfortable. Now I either wear a bathing suit on rapids rides (since 2 out of 3 of my local parks have free waterparks it works out well) or wear a poncho.

The official policy:

All Disney Theme Park guests are required to wear shirts and shoes at all times. Swimsuit tops are allowed when worn with other appropriate clothing.

Prohibited wear includes:

Clothing which exposes inappropriate portions of the body such as string bikini tops, G-strings, bikini bottoms, etc.

And now, this post will turn into a "but I saw a young girl with a string bikini top on at.............."
