I know that little boys are not allowed to go around shirtless in the parks, but would my daughters be allowed to wear say...a one-piece suit with a skirt or shorts over it? Or my son wear his trunks and a Tshirt?

Basically I am trying to avoid wet underwear! Changing into a dry shirt or putting a dry clothes on over a swimsuit is easy, but changing three kids out of wet underpants is just a pain, you know?

From Splash Mountain, Grizzly River Run, Dot's Puddle Park, The SS Rustworthy, Donald's Boat and the various play fountains.

I wear a bathing suit to my local theme park (water rides) but I wear shorts and a shirt. I think if your daughter has a shirt and shorts, that would be fine. She can take them off to play in the water fountains- well, that's my opinion anyway.

And I think your son will be fine with trunks and a shirt.

There was a similar post several weeks ago, where someone asked if children could wear a swimsuit in the 'wet' areas of the park. Veterans indicated that you could strip your kids down to their swimsuits at the puddle park or wherever, no problem. I think Disney just doesn't want people wandering around in skimpy clothing. Adult clothing seemed to be more of a concern to park employees than childrens'.

We'll plan to bring swim diaper/swimsuits for our boys into the park, and hope the regular clothing stays dry! :)

That was my question a few weeks ago. And the consensus was, yes, swimming suits are fine, but boys must wear a shirt or tank top, too. The reason I asked was when we were in the water area last year, on our first family trip to Disneyland, I took my 19 month old ds' shirt off, so only his shorts would get wet. It wasn't long before a CM respectfully asked that I put ds' shirt back on. I had no idea about the no nakee man ****s policy, but that makes sense to me. If that 35 year old hairy guy can't take off his shirt (Thank God!) then my 19 month old little cutie should have the same rules. That way, no one raises a fuss.
My dd, 5.5 years will be wearing her one piece Tinkerbell swimsuit from the DisneyStore. My ds will probably wear his Spiderman swimtrunks, with swim diaper. Not sure on a top, but we will figure it out soon.
And definitely wear some sandals!
