Bathing infant?

What about a disposable styrofoam cooler?

It'd be just big enough for him to sit up in, not slippery, and cheap enough that you could leave it at Disney.

??? :confused3

I would just do it in the sink with the folded towel.... but the styrofoam crate is an option....ha! just make sure you take out your beer!:thumbsup2

I just put a towel down in the tub, and just about 2-3 inches of water. I laid the baby across one arm and kind of supported her. I used my free hand to soap up the little one, then used the plastic cups used for drinking and rinsed with that.
Or if all else fails, take a bath with her.

This is exactly what I did with dd when we were in WDW and she was only 3 months old.. worked just fine

Thanks for all of the great suggestions. I knew I came to the right place for help! I think we will either get one of those spongy bear-shaped things or just use a towel in the sink or tub.

Just a note about the inflatable ducky tub... we bought one for DS for his first trip to WDW (at 5 months old, too!) and we HATED it! He learned to sit up on his own while we were in WDW and the ducky tub was soooo slippery! He'd lean back on it and fall right down into the water. It was so scary. Needless to say, we only used it that one time. The rest of the time, he took a shower with us. (He loves showers, although I do have to admit that his first shower was when he was only a week old, so he's been showering "all his life." LOL)

Have a great trip!

We had the same experience with the ducky tub - I thought it was kinda of dangerous - we only used it once and I tossed it. Dd had taken a shower with me daily since about 2.5 months old. When she was an infant, at home she was laying in her baby (unfilled) tub on the other end of the shower stall (no tub, just a long stall, worked out great). Once she was comfortably sitting up, she played with her toys. On vacation, DH passed her in to me once I was done washing. It works great - especially since she had SO MUCH HAIR to rinse!

When DS was a baby I was scared to death when his suction cup seat slid over and trapped him on his side with his mouth & nose under water. After this incident I used to shower then take a bath with DS. When DD was born a premie bathing became even more scary. At this point I let DS 1 yr, sit in the front of the tub and held DD in the back. This way no matter how slippery things got everyone was safe.

Good luck

For us what worked best is a shower with the disposable cloths! DS had been in many hotels as a baby and that's the best solution for him! At 2 he is not afraid of the water and wants to shower by himself (we don't let him yet but he wants to!), and it's fun interaction with mom or dad!!
