Mods - Not quite sure where to post so feel free to move if I'm on the wrong board.

My DNiece just made her junior high bball team. This is a big deal and the coach is upset that she will be gone for the first whole week of practice. My DSis is thinking of bringing a bball and her sneakers so that she can practice somewhere. Does anyone know if there are any hoops anywhere that my DNiece can practice?

I don't know of any but I do know one thing if she brings that ball she will probably never pick it up, its Disney.... The Coach will get over it, go to WDW and have a good time!

There's a hoop/court next to the OKW pool. There is also at least one hoop in the Fort Wilderness area. I am not sure, but you could check to see if the sport experience at the WWofSports complex has a hoop. But I agree, that if you are not staying at OKW or FW, she will have a hard time feeling like she wants to go shoot hoops.

I agree with both of you but I promised my DSis I would find out. As I am a new DVC member and staying at SSR we might head over to OKW to check it out. Thanks!
Oh and I have way too many things planned for her to be shooting hoops. I think Auntie will need to keep her busy.
