My son will be 12 for our cruise, on Feb 19-22. He turns 13 on March 22. Will he be allowed in the teen groups, common grounds, etc. He is 6' tall now and by next year he will probably be well over six foot. I think he will be uncomfortable being with younger children. ALso he said he only wants to go if he is able to play basketball, so my question is are there courts on the ship and are they available to all or do you have to sign up for them.

I can't comment about the kids clubs, but there is a basketball court on the ship, on deck 10 forward. I don't believe you have to sign up to use it, it seems to be open to anyone.

As long he is within a month of turning 13 (which he is) he should have no problem going into the teen club at Common Grounds. Just double check with the counselor on the first day.

I have seen many "pick-up" basketball games going onboard.

Yea there are basketball courts to use whenever you want
both groups start games but he would have to check what time and days I know this for a fact because a week with out basketball for me would be really bad
