Basketball court on Fantasy

Do they keep the courts open and are balls always available in the evenings?

Do they keep the courts open and are balls always available in the evenings?

on the Fantasy, balls are taken away at 6:00 PM. Reason we got is that Remy restaurant is below the basketball courts and noise from bouncing balls can be heard below. I did notice a couple nights 1-2 balls were returned to courts around 10:00 PM.

On our first cruise on Dream they hadn't started closing the basketball courts during dinner hours at Palo, and it was extremely annoying and distracting the hear the constant thumping and the squeaking of shoes. I was very pleased to see that by our second Dream cruise they had started putting the basketballs away.

Disney didn't get that planned out well when designing the ship. We were on the Oasis ( not my favorite) this last spring and our kids went to the court every night after dinner. Played soccer and basketball. Wasn't hot or crowded. On my last cruise on Carnival the sports court was locked in the evenings. I need to have a talk with these ship designers! LOL. It was nice going outside relaxing under the stars and knowing what your kids are doing while they are having fun. My son for some reason is not a kids club fan unless he takes a buddy with us ???
