Basket/Storage on Rental Stroller?

I did a search for stroller threads, and I couldn't find anything about basket/storage on the rental strollers at all of the parks. Is there a basket or somewhere to put a backpack, small softside cooler, etc? By looking at pictures, there isn't handles to even hang a backpack or mist fan on, just a straight bar across/ Now I am wondering if is should just buy a stroller to bring instead of renting.

Hi! From what I remember, there isn't much "storage" on the rentals. We rented a double last year, but we brought a single for my littlest one and kept most of our stuff in there.

I do recall there being a few pockets on the back of the double stroller that we put our drinks and mister fan in. I assume the singles have these too, but can't say definitely. You might be better off with a bag with a single strap that you could hang around the handle? Otherwise, you may be able to keep a small bag on the hood/roof of the stroller.

Otherwise, try to pack light, lol! How old is your child? If he/she is out of diapers, I wouldn't bring a lot to the parks. Wear a fanny pack (I know they are ugly!) and put essentials in there.

I'm bringing small bungie straps to hook backpack, etc. onto handle with - save the back as much as possible. When DD5 is walking I'll use seat to carry stuff. You can get the small bungies - (multicolored straps with rubber ends) as most stores, (wal-mart, target, etc.)

Thanks for the help... I'm thinking that it may be better to buy stroller to bring with us instead (we are in the need of a new one anyways).
