Does anyone know some of the general prices for merchandise at Basin in Downtown Disney? I found pics at Suite Disney, and it looks like a neat place to shop! Anyone have any comments?
Thanks!,
Amanda

I just bought three "medium" size bath bombs for ~$9.50 and a tube of salts for ~$3.50. It's a VERY neat place. :)

lol That was an incredibly quick reply!! Thanks! What other kinds of stuff do they have? Their soaps look really neat. Is the store very big?

Thanks!!
Mandy

There is also a store in the Mall of America. We always go to Basins when we go to WDW!!

We bought a ton of stuff at Basin during our trip last August.
It smells heavenly in there!
They carry specialty soaps, you can buy them already cut or have a piece cut to your specifications. Every scent and color you can imagine. I actually bought a soap called Flame that smelled of tobacco and vanilla! An interesting combo, and I don't like the smell of cigarettes! It has glitter in it and flames. Go figure......
You can buy the bath bombs individually or get a "tube". The price for the tube varies according to which size bath bombs you fill it with. I bought two of these  , one for myself and one for our guinea pig sitter back home as a thank you. It was a big hit!
They have shampoo bars, like a bar of soap only for your hair. My dad grabbed one of these.
Massage bars! Yep, we stocked up on these too!!!! :teeth:
They are refrigerated, but the friction and body heat causes it to soften slightly. They are not greasy, which is nice.
You can make your own candles, mix and match your own bath salts. The store has everything!

Lucky for me they give a discount to DVC members.
They may also give AP discounts. Be sure to ask.

what you see on the website is what they have in the store.
It is a decent size store and it smells wonderful.

Thanks so much for the info guys! Maybe I should buy an AP so I can get some discounts. It seems that I could save quite a bit of money by doing this... If only I knew when my next trip was going to be... I guess if I bought an AP it would give me an excuse to go back sooner!
