Basil as houseplant?

Is it possible? Or does it tend to get bugs?

I have been very unhappy with the basil in my herb garden this year.

Bobbi - I've grown basil and parsley and chives indoor before. It was in a wide planter and I kept it in the kitchen in a bright airy location. I didn't have a problem with bugs. I hope it works for you too.

Bobbi have you tried having a basil indoors? When my daughter had put together her science project, she had a basil cutting, and it did fine indoors.
