7 family members will be doing the 5k with no problems ,and then there's me. I've signed up and am not sure I can do it in the time limit, can I have a wheelchair? DS has offered to push it until I need it. Can this be done?

Thank you,
Bobbi:goodvibes

I'm not sure about the wheelchair question - maybe contact runDisney about it? However, if you can do the 3 mile distance, I would walk it anyway, regardless of pace. As long as you can finish in an hour or so, you'll be fine. Disney doesn't time runners or do any sweeps for the Family Fun 5K's, as long as you are making a good effort to finish.

In January, I did the race with my son in a stroller and started at the very back (so my stroller didn't get in anyone's way). Our finish time was 52 minutes and there were still MANY people who stopped for photos and were behind us. I wouldn't worry about your pace as long as you can walk the distance and are sure that you'd finish.

.

That is good to know. Right now I am really pushing myself for that 15 minute mile as recommended.....but knowing I have a little leeway in case of an emergency stop (Its' Goofy - take my picture!).

Thanks!:lovestruc

I've actually been waiting at epcot for the open of the park and saw the last of the 5k-ers finishing. As long as your moving they seem to be very considerate. Altho I have a great picture of the cones being picked up behind the last few people
