Basic food at dinner

My husband is King of all picky eaters. At the first restaurant, he ordered shrimp cocktail for an app. They didn't offer it at the other restaurants during the rest of our cruise, but the waiter went and got it for him each night.

I still smile when I think of this. They really do everything in their power to make it the most magical time ever.

Very interesting stuff! I'm willing to try everything, but just we too have the late dinner slot. Wondering about what someone said - eating elsewhere and going to the dining room for dessert. Can you do this at your regular dinner time? I do intend to try the restaurants, but just wanting to know what to expect.

Is dinner served in different courses? Do you leave when you are finished or do you stay seated for a certain amount of time?

On the Wonder, and I suspect on the Magic and Dream, it is served in courses. I've been told that the late slot is the longest time from beginning to end, but I can't say personally because I've always had the late slot. People leave when they are finished. Some people leave right after main course. Not me. No way am I missing dessert!! :rotfl:

dinner served in courses and you can leave whenever you want....

interesting thread but I think I'm in the wrong place :) as I'm looking for flair and adventure with my dining experiences ... try something new, if you don't like it, get something else ... its brilliant :)
