Basic Dining plan question

I am number crunching between the 2 plans for next year for me, my sister and the three eating machines she calls her teenage triplets. If you buy the basic dining plan can I assume that buying apetisers oop will be allowed? If I choose the deluxe plan can you book this at any hotel category from value to deluxe? My choice of hotel is limited by the rip of prices they charge for air fair in school holidays, and as my sister is head of department at her children's school bunking off in school term time is not possible.

Yes, you will be allowed to pay for anything you want. Just like drinks, etc. in previous years. They will bring you a bill for anything that isn't covered with the DDP. We called and switched our room only reservation to a package on Sunday and the CM said those two different dining plans are available to any category of hotel.
