We normally buy Park Hopper tickets in the past - last visit 2012.
Now with the new FP + system - all 3 FP's in the same park and the same day..plus I guess our TS meal also in that park - Why should we Park Hop?

A regular one day per park ticket seems better with the FP+ system to us.

What do you think?

Please tell :goodvibes

Depends on what you want to do. Are you into rides or can you just spend the evening strolling around the World Showcase after a morning at MK? And I would much rather eat somewhere other than MK, don't really like any of their restaurants. i'd still want park hopping. Everyone might not feel the same way.

My boyfriend and I were just there in the beginning of February with Magic Bands and FP+. On most days, we were in up to three parks. We'd pick a park for our FP+ rides, then most likely get dinner somewhere else, and then we LOVE Epcot so we spent a majority of our evenings there walking around there or on the Boardwalk.

I think that for folks like us who like to jump around its beneficial, but I can see why others would say its not worth it.

I think it's the perfect opportunity to do rope drop in the am and ride with no FP, but then still be able to hop at night, with FP's lined up.

Oftentimes before, if we decided to go to Epcot at night, there was no way we were getting a Soarin FP, or TSMM at DHS.

Now you have the opportunity to do that. :goodvibes

We just returned from a 10 day park hopper stay. Park hoppers are even more important now that FP+ is going strong. We rope dropped at one park...rode all the headliners (and then some) stayed until noon or one, went back to resort and napped or swam. At dinner time we would go to another park...use our FP+ reservations and walked on key attractions. It worked out great for us. Riding Toy Story Mania and/or Soarin at 6:30 at night was pretty cool! We really liked FP+ for that reason. The worst thing about it is is the tie ring. If that would go away, we could survive with it! :thumbsup2

You could do AK during the day and head over to Epcot or HS for Illuminations/Fantasmic

You could do HS during the day and Illuminations.

I personally love the MK at night and have spent the day in another park, then gone over to the MK for the night parades and fireworks. Depending on the time of year, I've done SB for Big Thunder or Splash.

But it all depends on what you want to do everyday - and I guess to some extent if you're will to do SB lines for certain things.

I sort of get it now.

What if we did MK arrival at 8:30 AM, after MK had a late night the evening before - did our favorite rides - then go to EPCOT for lunch and 3 FP+'s for around 4 pm , 6 pm and 8 pm - or do you need to have more than 2 hours between FP+'s? This assumes EPCOT is open till 10 pm.

...as long as you are staying onsite and can prebook FP+ for the second park.

For anyone staying offsite without that ability, park hoppers really lose a lot of their value right now.

I recently had FP+ that were back to back to back.
10-11, 11-12, 12-1.

Which I am, and I can. :goodvibes

We always stay onsite, so I am not familiar with the complications of staying off site.

OP, if you're staying off site, then disregard. I guess that wouldn't work.
