Baseball

hi, i was wondering if anyone has been to a baseball game whilst out in the US. We have decided to go see Tampa Bay Rays on the 3rd October. I haven't been to a game before but I know its popular out there so hoping it will be a good night

I went watching the SF Giants last year, we had good seats but what got me was the fact the crowd near us were more interested in eating and chatting than watching the game,very strange atmosphere and not what we expected. We were up at Club Level so it may have been that and the game was dull with only one run scored by default when the pitchers didnt pitch but had gone into his throw. Give it a go every match is different and we unlucky with the match,

we always like trying something new when over there, we did the Speedway at New Symrna this time, lots of loud V8 going round an oval.

Lived near Miami for a year and when my parents came over I got surprise tickets for my husband and dad to go watch the dolphins play the LA dodgers at pro-player stadium which was quite near to where we were living. They loved it. They said is was a really 'american' thing to do - seen on so many TV programmes and films!

Yer we wanted to do something different but the only thing they got us on the postage as they wouldn't let us pick the tickets up before it started.
