Oldest son is still a bit to young for baseball, though he may do a sports sampler program at the Y that includes a few weeks of baseball. Hopefully I'll get a chance to photograph it. Many times his programs go on while I'm working.

Looking forward to seeing some good photos here. As much as I love the Patriots and football, baseball has always been my #1 sport.

My son's 10U team is year round (heck, it's such a huge family commitment, I call it "our" team!); after a long winter of practicing, we're all psyched to have the games start next weekend!!!! Our season culminates in the 10U tournie in Cooperstown in June!

I have the chance to take a quick vacation (sans kids, DH), but it is the weekend of our game against our biggest rivals - so I am torn!

I'm also anxious to get the season started b/c that is really the main time I have to take my camera out; I love taking pics of all the kids!

Here's one I took (and previously posted) in our fall season (name is purposely smudged, as it's not my kid); looking forward to hearing about - and seeing pics from - y'all's season! Good Luck!

Go Sox. Just seeing those Fenway pics makes me want to get on a plane and head north. I like the Astros here in Houston but my soul is for the Red Sox.

I feel like a pre-teen girl at a boy band concert... YES, I'm that excited!!!

I always love your merge pitching shots, ANewman! I've just recently started trying those - fun!

We won both games our our opening double header Sunday!!! Woo Hoo! My shots were okay for the file box, but not inspired enough to post...maybe this Sunday!

Being a Red Sox fan, I'm jealous Virgo! (admittedly, I'm Mets first, then Boston). We're attending a Nationals/Orioles scrimmage at the end of the month, but I don't think I'll bring the camera to that one.

In an effort to not have this thread buried deep before the season even starts, I will post a few from last year. It is from a summer baseball league here on Cape Cod. Kyle will know the team, I'm sure! The pics aren't all that great, but what the heck. With what I am learning here this years pics should be much better.

LOVE the Cape Cod Baseball League. I went a few years ago with my sister and DS and we had a blast. Maybe I'll try and head down there again this year with the camera and look for future Major Leaguers (there are many times 1 or 2, sometimes more on each team). By far the best summer collegiate baseball league in the country.
