I am SO GLAD they are finally enforcing the "No Butt-crack" policy!!!::cop: :thumbsup2

Thanks for reviving this thread, you saved me a search. ;) I still don't have any from my son's games yet, but I thought I'd post these.
We are a baseball loving family, too. There's nothing like Opening Day (except it's usually really cold here, too!)

Well we didn't make it to Opening Day this year, but we made it to the second game yesterday, which arguably this year was even more fun. It was Daisuke Matsuzaka's - aka Dice K - debut at Fenway Park! Thought I'd share (pardon the imperfections.)

Red Sox fans - do you think giving DiceK #18 was a suble slam? :teeth: The funny part was, a lot of fans who had Damon #18 shirts had duct-taped the name Matsuzaka over Damon. :rotfl2:

Here are some oldies but goodies. These were taken the day after the Sox won the World Series in 2004. Hey Curt Shilling... You just won the World Series. What are you going to do next??? :teeth:

Talk about your magical experiences. :woohoo:

I posted these on the CB but here's a few of the Spring Training game I went to back on March 10th.

Even Spring Training tickets are hard to get.

It was a fantastic experience and one I hope to repeat next year. :thumbsup2

I recently went to a Yankee vs Tiger game in Lakeland. We had a great time even though the yankees got clobbered! The best part was that there was a swarm of bees that invaded the field! It was so funny to see the players run away! I'm not able to post pics yet but when I'm able, I will. Lynn

In an effort to keep the baseball '07 thread moving and secondly to keep the Red Sox part of the thread in tack :teeth: here are some pics from last nighs Sox/Yanks game at Fenway Park. I'm kicking myself in the behind because I didn't bring my dSLR. I hadn't been to a game since before 9/11 and didn't want to have any issues with bags and all that stuff so I just took my Canon Powershot S30. Got to Fenway early for batting practice, though I did miss the Sox, I was able to see the Yanks take BP. The spot I ended up there were 3 people there with Nikon dSLR's. 2 of them with a D50!!! DOH! Next time my D50 is coming with me! BP is an excellent time to get great shots. Here are a few with my little 3x zoom, 3.1MP, 5+ year old S30.

For those long time Sox fans, no that is not Mo Vaughn standing for the National Antheum, thats Big Papi wearing #42 in honor of Jackie Robinson. With him are Julio Lugo, Willi Mo Pena, Kevin Youkilis, ?, and Mike Lowell:

Well, of course your Nikon D50 would have been welcome! :thumbsup2 Didn't you see the big Nikon sign! :sad2:

Awesome pics. Those games were great this weekend. Been a Sox fan for about 7 years now, was not really into BB before my BIL moved up there and my wife and I started following them. We will be in Seattle next month and last time I went up there, I did not take my DSlr with me to the game, this time I will be.

Great pics everyone.

One from tonights game. My son went 3-4 at the plate his first multi hit game in HS :)

Its funny how a (worldwide) thread about baseball pics turned into Red Sox/Fenway pics.

Gotta love Red Sox Nation!

Here are a few photos from the 2007 Arizona Diamondbacks season so far.
IMG_5764.JPG

Chase Field - Home of the Arizona Diamondbacks. The mosaic panels open and the roof retracts when the weather is nice. The team usually opens the roof and panels just before the game. It takes 5:28 for the roof to open. The Diamondbacks had a local musician compose a song specifically for the roof opening. Here's a view from the inside. You can see the pool beyond the right field fence.

Here is Orlando Hudson "O-Dawg" the starting second baseman for the Diamondbacks checking his batting helmet in the dugout before the game.

This is not really team related but this is my son Dakota being interviewed for a piece on the JumboTron. He was named "Honorary Bat Kid" for the game and hung out on the field before the game with the players and official bat boys.

Padres right fielder Brian Giles hit the wall directly in front of me and nearly knocked himself out. He was so close I couldn't get him in the frame. I asked him to roll over a couple of times so I could frame him properly but he just laid there.

Just a few shots from the first 18 home games of the Diamondbacks.

Jeff

Jeff, Nice shots you got there. I'd love to head out that way sometime and get in a game. Certainly one of the things on my life long "To Do" list, see every major league ball park. I've got 6 under my belt. I'm hoping to get to Philadelphia in Sept.

Gregg, that is a GREAT action shot! Nice capture.

Well Kyle if you ever do plan a trip to Arizona and want to catch the Diamondbacks let me know. I'd be happy to take you to a game.
