My typical convo with parents

Mom- hey Drew, the dog needs a bath
Me- It's (insert sister's name here)'s turn
Mom- She is cleaning her room
Me- dang

My parents have been really annoying these last few weeks for me, too. It seems to get worse and worse as time passes.
Listen to this:
I am at the mall with my parents and my mom picks out this really ugly shirt that is plaid. Plaid just isn't my thing.
Me: I don't like that shirt!
Mom: you will if I say so!
Me: I won't wear it so you'll waste ur money. Besides, you know I don't like plaid.
Mom: Sometimes you have to do things you don't like(mean tone)

so then, my dad took me out and spanked me. I am 15 for crying out loud! And for my opinion? Sheesh...

Yeah same here. Maybe cause I'm actually home. During the musical, I was at school till 9/10 every night and now since it's over, they've been pushing my buttons all the time. :confused3

I need something to do that doesn't involve my parents... that's why I'm planning on going to all the home soccer and baseball games with my friends (:

Mine:
Mom- Why do you do this?
Me- Because... I want to?
Mom- You shouldn't
Me- There's nothing wrong with doing that...

Dad- Get out of your room
Me- I like my room.
Dad- Come out.
Me- If I leave my room, I'm just going to go into a different room. It won't matter.
Dad- Then go outside.
Me- It's 10 o'clock at night, dad.

That does it. I need a one way ticket to Italy.

I was just yelled at for throwing away Proactive bottles.
THEY'RE EMPTY, what am I supposed to do with them?!
I don't even need the stuff anymore.

Reduce, reuse, recycle!

Reuse the bottles for other drinks when going to school, to the mall, to the beach, on a day out, etc. Saves from paying more when out and about, and also helps the environment. Woohoo!

I keep quite a lot of bottles to take out with me. I fill it up with squash so I don't buy anything else (unless I'm really thirsty)

Dad: what movie were you watching?
Sarah: Princess and the Frog.
Dad: Are you the Princess or the frog?
Sarah: *glares*
Dad: Okay, I was just making sure. I was pretty sure it was frog, I was just making sure.

My Dad's Sarcasm is annoying... :)

Sara isn't too into saving the enviornment... :rolleyes1

My parents didn't get too bad until just recently. One day I just sat down and thought about all the stuff they did, and came to the realization that they are overprotective.

Mom: *looking through my dirty clothes* Why do you not wear these jeans?
Me: I don't like them
Mom: I pay a lot of money for your clothes!
Me: I distinctly remember when we bought the jeans. I tried them on and they were too big, but you didn't like the smaller size because you said it was too tight- when it wasn't. So you bought the bigger size and said they's shrink in the wash. They didn't.
Mom: I'll wash them again.
Me: It's not going to work...

Brother: *Playing video game*
Sarah: Chris! It's your turn to give the cat a bath!
Brother: Fine! *Pauses video game and gets up* Wait, we don't have a cat. SARAH!!
:lmao: haha

This seems like a situation I go through every other day. My mom and I don't agree on clothes and fashion.

We should make a thread for funny conversations between us and our friends and family.

My parents were really bugging me today at how I don't try hard enough. I am a straight A student. My mom is never pleased with anything. There is always something to complain about.

My parents won't accept when I say, "Everyone did bad on that test", or "At least I passed," or "It was really hard"
