I think you have sound logic for the Starbucks job. Sounds like it is worth a try. At the end of the day you could walk away if it doesn't work out.

I hear wedding bells!!!!!!!

Okay, well not MY wedding bells, but for my Nephew and his Girlfriend!!!!!!



We LOVE these two crazy kids and the fact that they are finally getting hitched is just too much excitement! They've been dating for several years (started dating right as they finished high school) and it was one of those "if you break up with HER we are keeping HER in the family" type situations! We LOVE her.

So, talking to my SIL about it this morning I gave her some info about next year- thinking that they would be waiting until he was finished with school (She took a year off to do a year long mission trip after high school) in the spring before they got married. My SIL informed me that they are thinking EARLY MARCH. Okaaaay… well, they haven't SET a date yet, but it does seem like they are trying to line it up with their spring break. Which makes sense, since they are still in school. Only problem is their SB doesn't line up with OUR SB. So…. if they got married on Mar 1, then, Corey would struggle to go, because he already has a concert scheduled for March 2 at EIU. This doesn't eat into any of our trip, but it does make two back to back LONG drives for my girls.

However. We are still REALLY excited for their wedding and cannot WAIT to see what they start planning for it!!!! And somehow, someway, we will make it work!

So, I was just minding my own business wasting far too much time on Facebook, when I saw this pop up in my feed from the Touringplans peeps& I probably should not have watched it! I think this is so beautiful and I just LOVE the way they increased the bathroom- with a pocket door even! (I am a sucker for a pocket door!)

July 10th… we're on the count down to the FIRST part of the planning of the trip! Of course, we have several other dates to look forward to over the next few months, I'm happy to know that I'll be on my way to booking the trip in a few short weeks!

I think I'm going to just book a room at ASSp, but also quote Pop and POR. I'd like to know what my other options are… Perhaps I can convince Corey that we should upgrade! Or that since Pop is closer it would be a better choice. We'll see how it goes. I'm going to wait to book my MIL's room until I'm sure that they are going. No reason to book anything if they aren't sure.

Cortlyn had dance class tonight and it's always nice to chat with the moms there. One of the moms I've known for a while, since our daughters have been in the same class all year. Another mom I only met recently, since her daughter's summer class overlaps. Well my friend and I were talking about Disney (cause she's a fan, too!) and the new mom-friend mentioned something and come to find out, she is a kindred spirit as well! I just KNEW she would be a good friend! Turns out that she had been in the College Program several years ago as a lifeguard at the Beach and Yacht club! Isn't it crazy that I was sitting there wondering if I should ask what her Dis name is???

That YouTube video with the room at POR and the pocket door, are the bathrooms that big or was that a handicap accessible room? They really are quite nice.

Welcome back! Oh… I mean, it's GOOD to be back!

Okay, so packages have been released- YAY!!! Of course, that just makes the decisions harder! My DH and I haven't decided on a resort quite yet… But when I sent him the quote from our TA (The fantastic Jenn!) his first response was "Well, let's book POR." REALLY?? Well, I haven't decided for sure, but it looks like we may be over there for this trip, which is REALLY exciting for me!

Now, I have been in my homestate dealing with some family issues on my side and we got to see my DH's family. Without going into the details, there was a bit of a fight over something REALLY silly. We try hard to keep boundaries in place, but apparently this one boundary is just something that my in-laws cannot respect. So, as of right NOW, they aren't going to be coming with us on our trip. Perhaps it is all for the best!

We talked to our nephew and his bride to be and apparently their spring break falls MUCH later than usual (and later than what I found online!!) so it looks like our trip will not be effected in anyway. But we still will have two back to back trips, since their wedding will now be at the end of March. Oh well. We will make it work! I gave the bride-to-be a lot of helpful advice about planning and such. Of course, this is her big day, so I was careful to not step on any toes!! I just wanted to make sure her day runs smoothly.

Oh and my BFF SBPrincess (I think that's her name on here) won't be able to join us on our trip. Her husband will be doing a dual enrollment and the two colleges he will be attending have different spring break dates! Can you believe that?! Jerks!

Okay, so that's my update for now. Trust me- we have to get the ball rolling on some ACTUALLY planning soon!!

I'm going to do a quick "real life" update with some pictures from our trip home!

First we got to see our bestest friends Shelley and Brian! The girls were SO happy to see Uncle Brian. (Although, somehow we missed getting any pictures with Shelley! )


We also saw my grandfather, who is the girls' great grandfather. He has lung cancer and Alzheimer's. I am the POA for PawPaw, so I have to go and visit him quite often!


While we were in the South, we got to go to Cow Appreciation day at CFA!! YUM!


And we went swimming with some friends!

Thank you! It's hard on us because we are so far away, but we make it work as much as possible. The good thing is, when he saw he girls, he instantly lit up and was so happy!
