Barry HORN is Brilliant!

We took a trip to US and IOA with a large group of friends and I was appointed the travel planner. I researched everything like crazy and formulated a plan of attack.

Upon arrival at the parks, everyone would ask me...
"What should we do first?" "Where should we eat?" "What time is the show?" Where are the characters?"

And I would announce, with great authority and confidence, "Well, Barry HORN says we should..." to whatever question I was faced with.

The entire group decided that this Barry HORN guy must be a US and IOA God.

I, on the otherhand, am an idiot. After returning, I realized his name is actually HOM, not HORN.

Now, my DSIL (and fellow Diser who will remain nameless)is planning a trip in February. We were chatting today and I asked her a question and she replied, "Well, Barry HORN says..."



I took great pleasure in pointing out that everyone knows his name is Barry HOM, not Barry HORN.

Thanks for all the help, Barry Whats-his name!

I haven't seen that Barry dude on here much lately. When I tell my family my strategies for the parks, etc, I don't give anyone else credit but instead take the credit my self. My DH has given up on me doing much around the house until after my upcoming trip (the one he is not going on) since all I want to do is to read the boards, make my packinig list, etc.

Actually, I'm still on the boards, but I'm mostly watching. I would post more, but DM, SH, and FFE usually beat me to it.

I remember the days when it was just me and Robin posting on the Universal boards. We had to beg people to visit the board! We also had to walk up the hill 10 miles both ways in the snow to get to these boards. Now the boards are on the top 10 most active forms. You can see what a little GB drooling can do.

TiggerandBelle - heeey!!!!! I'm as real as you can get! Barry Hom, on the otherhand...what a phony guy!

Anyway, you may (or may not have) noticed I haven't posted on these boards NEARLY as often...look, SH has past me in number of posts (he used to be about 150 - 200 posts under me.). I have my own messageboard, and am spending a lot of time fixing that up. Only SH, AlexandNessa, and IMGONNABE40! know why I'm spending so much time there

Anyway, I've also been having computer problems. Daily basis things...computer freezes, won't turn on, etc.

Well, I just wanted to say "hi!" I'm going to Universal tomorrow.

Yeah, sure you're FlyFly! right....

Do you complain about needing a new computer like my 16yo daughter does CONSTANTLY??? The family computer (I have my own laptop, you don't think I'd use that piece if cr*p, do you? ) freezes up and makes a horrible noise. Alyssa thinks that it's her computer and that IM is her personal answering machine (you have to understand that she has her own cell phone with *her personal answering machine* on it). But now her 10yo brother has gotten into the instant messaging and signs her off all the time. hehehe--evil laugh.


I'll have to bring Aly to the Ghostbuster show when she is down in April. She'd probably like that if there are cute guys. I don't think her little brothers will sit through the show, though.
