so this is kind of out there, but has anyone else had bariatric surgery then gone to the Disney buffets or anything? I want my family to be able to enjoy a character meal or dining experience but I eat so little it's hard to think of paying full adult buffet price. I may just have to suck it up and pay it, but I am wondering about other guests experience

Disney buffets do not accept the WLS card/charge a smaller portion for WLS patients. ESPECIALLY at places with entertainment, like a character meal.

You'd pay full, adult price at any buffets or AYCTE restaurants. You're welcome to order from the children's menu or side items from a la carte places.

I feel your pain, with a child that eats a strawberry and a piece of bacon. It stinks, but we know going in the cost versus what she'll consume.

You will have to pay full price at every buffet and all you can eat restaurants.

Always good to ask so you can make informed choices. Congrats on your progress! Have a great trip!
