Wow, some great ideas in this thread. Thanks!

The £30 off at Argos Additions didn't work for me for some reason, but the same code can be used at Littlewoods Direct. I got DS a PS3 for £299 minus the £30 discount minus 8% thru Quidco which makes it under £250. Thanks for the heads up on the code :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Magic of Disney Art have 10% off and a free framed Disney picture for orders over £50. Enter HOLIDAY08 when purchasing. I just bought a Snow White picture for my Mum and a Cars picture for DS. I'm tempted to go for the Mary Poppins sericel for myself! :cloud9: We saw them both in WDW and they were wonderful but quite expensive. With the 10% off and the freebie framed picture they aren't too bad :goodvibes

Hope this helps.....

HMV has already been mentioned but I wanted to add that in store today there were loads of Disney DVDs from £5 upwards, for instance

Enchanted £5
HSM 1 & 2 £10 (This is a double DVD)
Nightmare before Christmas £5
Lots of Disney Classics £5 or £7

:)

Also if you visit the WH Smiths website you can join the Privilege Club, which means that each week you will get discount vouchers emailed, for instance this week I got 20% off Christmas wrapping paper, 20% of Christmas cards and £5 off if you spend £12 on childrens books.

:)

Oh and Quidco is very much worth the effort, we joined about 6 months ago and have earnt over £400

:)

Edited, to add that Halfords currently have 10% off everything ordered online (except Sat Navs) so if you want a bike then you can order on line get 10% additional discount and pick up the built bike in your local store

:)

I think Additions may have cottoned on to all the new people signing up :rolleyes1 ,so that's why i think the code is no longer no working :confused3 .Glad some of you got some deals with it though.
You watch there will be a surge of Littlewoods direct new customers now :lmao: .x.

Wow this is a great thread :thumbsup2 My DD wants an ipod touch for Christmas :santa: so if anyone sees any offers on them on their travels please could they post on here - I would be eternally grateful

I have money off vouchers that WH Smith emailed to me. Sadly I can't use them, so if anyone can make use of them, pm me your email addy and I will email them to you.

Sorry been out all afternoon, just got back from Lincoln, had a Geocaching meet, great fun.

Only free del codes for Argos unfortunatley.
Have you found a good deal? they are usually a little pricey on that type of stuff. Last one I bought I got from a local independant, they were about £10 more than anywhere online but took old machine and installed new one.
If you see a specific model you want let me know I will scout for a better price.

Just a thought.....
We did our kitchen a couple of years ago and I replaced all the "white goods" at the same time. After doing my Which? research and finding which ones I wanted I then researched price. I found (back then) that Boots kitchen appliances were well priced and I got lots of boots points too:goodvibes as I ordered so much (excess of £3000, I think). Saninsburys also do kitchen appliances.

We also used Boots electricals and can recommend them. Found a fridge freezer we liked in Currys, then priced around and had it from Boots for £120 less than Currys, plus loads of Boots points too!

Sara. :)
