Bargain August flights

Just spent 2 hours helping Mart(burt) get his flights sorted for August, he managed to book London to MCO 1 stop each way for £383 (£1,915 for 4 adults & 1 child). Flights are showing from £338
Alternative flights from London direct to Miami on the new Delta route, from about £450pp.

Looks like it was a shortlived error, prices have doubled, back to normal price. Hope some got in.

Hi Wayneg,

Gosh those were bargain flights, have just checked out Delta and Last Minute web sites and prices are in the £700's

When we're not flying Virgin Atlantic we normally check out the Amadeus web site first then go to the Airlines showing the best prices from that site.

What sites do you normally search for flights?

I use multiple sites incl Kayak, travelsupermarket etc but many times the best deals are misprices/errors, they often don't show on regular searches you need to be just lucky and wait for someone spotting them and posting.

Reference the misprices/errors, do they come up on a regular basis and if spotted are they normally posted on this forum?

I post them along with others if we find them.

Are they regular? no few and far between but they do appear from time to time.
In past few years I have had Business class flights worth £1700pp for £470pp
These last night about half what they should have been.
I got a 1 way flight home and paid $460 instead of £460 @ $2/£1 it worked out half price.
Last year lots of us got car rental, no matter how long you booked it only charged 1st week, I got almost 4 weeks for £197 instead of around £700. there was another car rental error on Dollar.co.uk early last year.
Some more August flights £330pp, far less they should have been.
Oct 08 flight I suspect were an error but not sure, again paid in $'s, worked out at £240pp
Also had a few hotel errors, one only charging me half the nights but still let me book, when we checked in I was told she had never seen a rate so low at their hotel, wonder why and another at Homewood suites at £22/night, should have been at least double that.

Thats shameful, even I buy a Valentines card, a £1 limit but I do buy one

Everytime I go out with him it seems to be places where no cash is involved, Hoop Dee Doo etc, can't think I have ever seen him spend cash, I bet his wallet has a padlock on

She dont do to bad, i prefer to spoil her all through the year and not just on days when people charge 3 times the true value of things
