Bargain 2015 flights?

I booked a Virgin fly-drive at the beginning of the year for 3 adults and 2 children, 14-30th Aug, Man - MCO for £4177.

I have just searched on skyscanner and direct flights are coming up for 15th Aug to 1st Sept for 5 of us with Thomas Cook / Condor for £2432. I have been reading about these flights and some people have had their e-tickets while others have been refunded as it's a glitch.

Has anyone tried to purchase these flights?

It's a glitch on some prices if you get the thomas Cook flights it's ok but if it's condor or multi airlines iI've spoken to 4 different flight suppliers and they all said it won't be honoured, I found return flights for £1060 for our family the other night I nearly passed out on the spot then wasted an hour trying to book them !!

I thought as much I wish they would remove the glitch. I have got to the payment page but I know deep down that I would just be waiting for a refund.
