This is a bit off topic, but I've been tempted to try bare minerals, so I'd love to hear more from you ladies who use it. How is the coverage? I don't use a ton of makeup, but have some rosacea (redness) in my face and am always looking for something that will do a better job hiding it. Also, it seems like bare wonders would do a good job reducing shineyness on the nose?
What do you really like about it, and are there any drawbacks?
Thanks!
Jen
I thought that it made my skin look too dry. Maybe the guy did it wrong, but he was a makeup artist who used bare minerals pretty much exclusively. I can't really use powder foundation, though, because it will emphasize "fine lines" so I think. I use liquid with a dusting of loose powder to set.
I don't have dry skin (combo skin), but guess bare minerals is not for me...
so sad...
they last ALL DAY!Good Luck Cryssi--maybe it was the guy who applied it??
I'm fortunate to work in a salon so I'm getting a makeup lesson on how to apply the makeup myself and then can do it when I get down there. Just a thought....have you considered doing your own makeup? that way you can use whatever products you like. I'm gonna be doing my own makeup. I'm a little picky about my face and people touching it, especially my eyes. ok, i'm a freak, you can say it...I'm fortunate to work in a salon so I'm getting a makeup lesson on how to apply the makeup myself and then can do it when I get down there.
