I don't think there were any places to eat close by, we took cabs, but I forgot to mention there is an AMUSEMENT PARK nearby. I think my kids ate there. They were too little at the time to appreciate much, so one of the older cousins took them there for the day while we went on the hop on/off.

Looks like there is a pretty decent place close to the amusement park (we did go there - rides were closed but beautiful up there). Look up Enrique Tomas restaurant - gets good reviews on tripadvisor.

I took this picture in 2007 when we were at Mount Tibidabo's amusement park. I think that tall building is the hotel . . .
