Thanks for the update Blayne! I feel the same way about Pochahontas, I also prefer exotic looking Jasmines. I totally at the elephant cup, I've been guilty of this as well. I got one of those Disney birthday buckets on my birthday after I begged for it and had to carry it around the park with me all day...

Thankyou for the update, it was well worth the wait. I am on my "disney diet" right now, preparing for my trip in Dec. I am worried about all the good food, I don't want to lose it just to gain it back ya know?!

loved the new update! Rafiki omg...I was laughing so hard. I had a similar experience with Buzz Lightyear at Disney Studios, but he was WAY more polite than that cheeky monky! Buzz just wanted kisses not copping a feel!! LOL!

I am living vicariously through trip reports until we go in December! Blayne , I have really enjoyed your trip report . I think because it was your first trip it reminded me of all the emotions I felt the first time I went.

Current update: My graduation party was great! I will post pictures from my graduation after this installment - I made lots and lots of money and it was wonderful!

Onto Day 7 -

Today we woke up and had breakfast in the room. It consisted of this delicious and HIGHLY unhealthy food :

I donned my Mouse ears (they are great arent they!), Todd made some funny faces and we were off!

I was really excited to go to MGM today because tonight was our Mama Melrose/Fantasmic Dinner Package! I couldn't wait to see Fantasmic after all the fantasmic things I had heard about it!! We boarded our bus to MGM and basically walked aimlessly for a little bit. We road Rock n Roller Coaster for the last time since this would be our last day in this wonderful park!

We headed over to the Voyage of the Little Mermaid and saw that - it was okay - I liked Ariel's voice and Ursula, but that was about it. Which is kind of sad since that is one of my favorite movies! Then we went to Walt Disney- One Mans Dream. That was entertaining and I really LOVED the 3d models and artifacts in the walk through. After we went to The Magic of Disney Animation - which I am not sure why we didn't go there before because this turned out to be my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE place! It was awesome!! We stayed in there for about 2 hours - I honestly just kept going in and drawing and drawing and drawing!!

I will tell you that after this obsessive episode, when I finally got home, I bought a TON of Disney drawing books and now have sketchbooks full of drawings - I have actually gotten really good at it! Now I didnt think I had ANY drawing talent - so I was pretty excited!

By the time we finally got out of there (we took a lot of time looking at the displays that showcase all the characters original drawings and such) it was time for the Stars and Motor Cars parade. We weren't getting lunch today because our dinner was REALLY early, so we picked up some churros and then parked ourselves in an AWESOME spot to watch the parade. I was really excited to see it because I love characters and I love cars!

So the parade was completely AWESOME! I loved every bit of it! I loved the villains and the Little Mermaid car (it was awesome!) I loved how I close we were to all the characters and believe me I have a LOT more pictures then that! I just didnt want to post them all! I loved this parade. We also stood with some very funny guys who were helping us to barricade our area so 800 people didnt try to snatch our spots!!

After the parade, we meandered around MGM, gazing longily at the park that we would be leaving soon! I took this picture of Mr. Potato Head because I thought he was super cute!!

At this point we were famished and right next to Mama Melrose, so we headed on over!! I was nervous about this reservation because I had heard that Mama Melrose wasn't good and had read HORRIBLE reviews! Can I tell you that this was one of my FAVORITE restaurants of the WHOLE TRIP! And Todd's as well! We were in LOVE with it - the food was INSaNELY good, the service was great, atmosphere was cute - it is now a must go for us!

They gave us this DELICIOUS bread to start with yummy oil and Mickey head butter :

I had the Ceasar salad, chicken parmesan and the warm Chocolate Truffle Cake. The Caesar salad was great - it came with these delicious crostinis, cake was sinful and my entree was top notch!!

Todd had the Mozzarella and Tomatos, which I thought was strange that I DIDNT order that since it is my favorite. I liked his appetizer so much that he shared it with me. My mouth is watering right now thinking about how amazing that appetizer was! He also had the chicken parm and Chocolate Truffle cake!!

It was an awesome place and highly recommend it! I cant believe that people don't like it! I wish that it was near my house so we could go all the time - it was FANTASTIC!!

After dinner since we had some time before Fantasmic, we headed back on over to the animation studio, despite Todds pleads to not make him go back! We took this little photo shoot -

After my little Cars "photo shoot", we headed over to Fantasmic early! They were already letting people through the gate, so we took our special little Fantasmic pass and headed up. Its a really long walk to Fantasmic, so it felt good to burn off some calories!!

When we got there, it was pretty early and we got a FRONT ROW seat!! It was amazing - I couldn't ask for anything better. We were right in front of the metal grating.. it worked out so well! I was super excited and to pass the time, we took some silly pictures!!

Once it got dark, and the show started I was EXTREMELY impressed! The show was amazing! Todd and me loved every moment of it! It was so cool - the water, fire, special effects - it was all so well done! The show was like nothing I had ever seen before! It was really romantic and I loved all the floats and lights!

When Fantasmic was done, I was sad to leave! We were both exhausted, but it was sad because that was our last day at MGM! We dragged ourselves to the bus and then off to bed when we got back! I was sad to leave!

Congratulations on graduating.. Glad that you are back. And -- I am very impressed that you still have very detailed knowledge of your trip. My November trip is such a blur
