Yes and yes.

Girls and boys cuts (and adults.)
Inexpensive and fun (sparkles, colored gel, if wanted.)
No ressies.
Can't predict the lines, but expect a wait.
Opens at 9am. Closes at 5pm. 7 days a week.

Children 12 and under, $14
Colored hair gel, $5.
Adult haircut, $17
Beard and mustache trim, $10

I love the barber shop! I got my long hair cut down to a bob there (took off 11 inches!) during our honeymoon..... needed to get rid of that wedding hair!

The cut is $14 and the color/confetti is free with a haircut.
If you just want the color/confetti is is $7.50.

Harmony Barber Shop is a lot of fun! (Don't forget you can get YOUR hair cut there, too!).

I don't think this is true. Perhaps recently, but not "since BBB opened".

We were there in May. Two of my kids got haircuts, one didn't. We paid $7.50 for the one who just got color. It was on their price list. We also saw a large group of teen girls get just color before us.

My girls recently went to the barber shop (Aug 08) and both got "just color and glitter". They LOVED it. I forget the price, but $7.50 sounds about right. We didn't have much of a wait. I would suggest avoiding parade times though. Have fun!

the barber shop is great, my son and I both waited in line and got hair cuts on our last visit. Its just another neat experience, ages 15 and 45.

I think I'd like to try this place instead of BBB. Did you say one must get a haircut in order to get the colored mousse and confetti? Because if not, that'd be perfect. I have an appt at BBB as of now, but I'm going to cancel because I don't have the money for it. But my DD would be much less disappointed if she could still be made "pretty" in Disney.

But she doesn't really need a haircut. I guess if I had to, the kids could get trimmed.. it'd still be cheaper than BBB.

My DH (age 37) channeled his inner-child and got a haircut and mickey ears in colored gel on the back of his head. Later in the day it rained and the gel got all over his shirt, which we thought made it even funnier. He loved it!

Not sure if you have a car available, but you could get the same Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experience at Downtown Disney (World of Disney Store), and then head over to the parks. It is pretty expensive though:http://allears.net/btp/bibbidi.htm
