Barbeque Grills at VWL

I am sure that there was an old thread on this but the search function wouldn't pull it up. Are they grills at VWL and has anyone used them? Are they far from the Villas? Do you grill and bring it back to the Villa or bring lawn chairs and eat by the grills?

Hi there .

Although we have never used them, I think there are some grills over by the boat dock. I am not sure if there are picnic tables there or not, but I think there is room for your lawn chairs.

I keep bugging my husband to buy a chunk-o-beef critter for grilling, but we have not yet done this.

Just returned from our evening stroll around the lodge. There are two charcoal grills out behind the boat and bike rental building. There are several picnic tables (at least 5 or more). They are near the boat dock and there are lots of beach chairs around. It's not far from the children's playground and the tether ball pole. It would be a great place to have a picnic.

Yes, there are a few grills behind the building where you rent the boats/bikes/etc... I seem to remember a few large picnic tables as well. We took DH's extended family last summer and contemplated grilling out burgers one night and eating down by the water - but we never got around to it!

Thanks for your answers. I thought it would be nice some evening just to relax and grill hot dogs and hamburgers. I didn't want to buy the meat and fixings just to end up cooking them inside.
