We just got off the Fantasy, and I noticed that I did not see servers walking up and down the beach serving drinks. Did DCL stop this service? It was one of our favorite parts of visiting Castaway Cay......treating ourselves to a Konk Kooker relatively early in the day.

I'll have to let you know. We saw servers on Serenity Bay when we were there in 2014:

Had servers on the beach last fall. Maybe whoever was assigned the position was ill on your particular cruise and there wasn't anyone to fill-in.

In April we had a cabana and had a server coming to bring us drinks... Not sure if they did it on the beach too.

I just walk to the bar myself. More steps to earn more treats!

:eek:There may be a mutiny in 9 days if this is the new norm::yes::

Perhaps with the pending dry dock the servers were assigned elsewhere that day.

Had servers in February! He was lovely and never left me without a drink in my hand!

There were servers on our trip on the Fantasy, but service was quite slow. It was faster to walk to the bar to get a drink then waiting on the server.

There were waiters at Serenity Bay in March on the Wonder. My husband and I ordered our first drinks before noon!

We were there last week, we saw servers walking up the beach around 10:30/11.

We were at Serenity Beach on Friday, April 28th. Had a couple of different servers walk past our spot multiple times. We were near the Lifeguard
Station a little over halfway up the beach.

They still had them last time we were there BUT I feel so sorry for those guys/gals sweating in the heat just to serve me a drink. Have you ever noticed how much they are sweating? It's hot for us and we can go in and out of the water. They can't. I get up and go to the bar myself. If I do have one delivered, I tip on top of what is already added to the bill.
