Only had drinks there so can’t comment on the food but nothing I’d make a special trip for at all and even though it’s right next to the pool it doesn’t feel like a normal pool bar ….

The Grilled Chicken Pasta is very good as is the Arancini. I usually get the Spiked Iced Tea for a cocktail.

They can also serve you things from Primo Piatto, they share a kitchen. The Grilled Chicken Sandwich is good.

I actually think it is deserving of a special trip over from EP or HS. It's a lovely setting and great food--not your average pool bar!

DH had wings he loved.
I had some kind of chicken sandwich that I loved.

The basic pasta (from Primo PIatto) is the best QS pasta anywhere, and competitive with good pasta anywhere.

Tuna Nicoise is in my top 3 "salads" at WDW - the others are the Cobb Salad at Brown Derby and ... not sure if the Connections salads make it. But I get the tuna nicoise most of the time I'm ordering from Primo Piatto and Bar Riva.

I have gotten cocktails there and the bar area itself is outside the fence from the pool, so it doesn't feel like a "pool bar" at all. But, I don't fully remember what I had there, just that I definitely enjoyed it.

Is the Tuna Nicoise salad at Riviera made with canned tuna or tuna slices? I love entree salads, but I don't like tuna slices-I've seen pictures of some salad that has what looks like seared tuna slices on it. Canned tuna for me! Which is the Tuna Nicoise?

The Tuna Nicoise salad has the seared tuna slices on it.

If you don't like ahi tuna you won't like this, but mmmmm, my favorite salad on property next to the HBD Cobb. A lot of the food at Bar Riva overlaps with Primo Piatto but it's nice being served on a plate instead of a cardboard box or plastic tub.

Just a heads up but if you’re eating at Primo patio, everything comes on plates with real silverware too. They bring the food to you and clear it as well. It’s not your typical hotel quick service. It’s only in boxes if you order to go or mobile order.
