I -um - have been there before. 2 years ago during a conference, I went back to our conference resort (CSR) from Epcot via cab...the next day, I found a receipt in my pocket for 3 B-52's and a coffee. I don't know what a B-52 is, even. other than a subspecies of beveragicus alcoholicus. AND WHO ORDERED THE COFFEE???
We were sitting most times, at tables (inside and outside) in the bar area more than physically AT the bar. Patience is generally required, as is "quick butt" when you see an empty table.
(Note: there was a guy there called "Santa Claus" once who "let" us sit at his table, explaining after 2 rounds that it was customary to buy him drinks. We did not.)
There's a bar and it's a blast! There are no bar stools. There are a few standing tables and a few tables with chairs scattered around, but don't expect to get a seat if you're coming in for a drink.
They also have to-go drinks--unless it's raining, in which case we spend a fair amount of time at the bar , we usually grab a to-go drink and go listen to The British Invasion.
Thanks for the compliment on my dogs! They have all gone over the rainbow bridge except the pit mix with the beautiful eyes--she's right next to me and just got her face washed by the cat.
We've only started hitting the bar in the last year or so--before that, never realized you could get to-go drinks there!
A must do for us! If it's crowded you can take your drink in a to go cup outside....wander across the UK pavilion to the park behind the shops and catch the British Invasion performance or enjoy the garden and sunshine!!

Good point, we love the gardens, and even DH likes to wander through the shops as well! I bought a Gisella Graham Christmas tree ornament there earlier this year--didn't realize they are not generally available in the USA--would have bought more ornaments if I'd known!
DH and I made a quick trip to WDW this weekend (we're two hours away and wanted to take advantage of the last gasp of cool weather ).
We did go to the Rose and Crown to get a pint of Guinness for DH--it was really, really packed (two deep at the bar) and we gave up in one area of the bar and ended up moving to another area that seemed more in control. The piano player started a set while we were there (Whiskey in the Jar or Irish Rover, I forget, plus Sweet Caroline) and it was all very jolly.
I didn't think to take any photos of the Rose and Crown but here's a photo I took of The British Invasion (BTW that couple on the far right sitting on the bench are there about 90% of the time we go--there used to be a tribute to them on The British Invasion website--a couple of years ago the website said they'd seen more than 5000 sets!).
