Banned for Battling

I was back at sea yesterday evening and hope they reviewed what happened. I did not receive a reply nor am I expecting one so soon. Would they be replying if they remove it from my record after finding out what really happened? I wish I could remember the players from the royal crew and warn you all not to play with them it's a shame some people can take a game so seriously after they lose and report the winners.

About the fireworks congrats on your score quite frankly I am simply terrible at that game. I have also seen many players get to the thousands in the first level and I admire that because i will be clicking away and be lucky if i get to 300 in the first level, although I have been getting better after watching goofy's clip. Glad you didn't get banned for your wonderful game score.

I am a little worried about playing with some people, I do prefer games with people I know. I have practice with this game but I do say it's mostly just luck I sometimes even find that lag helps me avoid cannons at the strangest moments, my screen could be completely frozen and i would just be shooting not seeing a thing and when the screen starts moving i find that all the ships are sunk except mine and thats what I call lucky lag. Bell that means alot to me, thank you. Although VMK pirates ship battle is just a game, I enjoy the game it's fun. Now i'm siding with someones signature in saying that 'my dream is for no more talking in pirates' or maybe we could just get credits from playing ai then we wouldn't have to worry about 'dock talk' either. About this cheat code, why can't it give you extra ammo instead of health? everyone knows it's the ammo that you always need!

I was recently accused of being a "bot" and I had no clue what they was saying until I asked around. There is no way to cheat there is a way to practice and be good at it. I will never say Im great at it, but I am better than average ;-)

Im princessconfused on VMK and I promise you these few things if I ever play you.
I wont cheat
I wont report you or call you names for winning, In fact I try to say GG when I lose
I wont cus in dictionary dance or for real for that matter
and generally I wont use first gold or shoot you when stuck unless lag get the cannons out before i see the stuck. lol

I too am afraid to play random pleople lately because of stories I hear like this.

Gee pirates sounds like a fun game not (I do not play it unless I have to do do a quest) Either you are a bad player and you get called names and told you stink. Or you are a good player and you get called cheater. Nobody seems to win at this game. But most pirates are not known through history for their morals and poiliteness

I hope this doesn't make people think they shouldn't play the game, belle it really is fun it's just sometimes you run into some players who take the game much to seriously and take all the fun out of it. But not every game is like this!

Just a quick note to dispel the rumor of a "cheat code" in the Pirates game:

POTC is a server side game and cannot be hacked into. If you took the .swf file and decrypted it, changed the game, then recompiled it, it would only affect what you (the hacker) can see, not what everyone else sees or experiences. Additionally, if you did that, you'd have to be running your hacked version from your own server, which Disney could easily track. Can you say immediate ban?

Now, it is possible to create a "bot" to play POTC. But, think about this. The game creators have essentially created "bots" (the AI ships), and with the best of their programming abilities, all these "bots" can do is pretty much move a little bit, turn and fire in a general direction. From their movements, you can tell that it is a program and you'd be able to tell if a vmk player had created a bot. Trust me.

A final possibility is that Yavn's team has created something like a "back door password" that allows them to test out game elements without being killed. This is incredibly unlikely, and I seriously doubt that Yavn is that careless.

So the moral of the story? Relax, this is a fair game. Gold is not cheap. Strategy is not cheating. Oh, and last but not least ... fear the BlueHairedMonkey.

well one thing is for certain! The ban was not because of cheating. Otherwise it would be considered a hack, and that gets you 10 years, not 24 hours.

Honestly I do not play pirates that often and all the information I had is from what I see on the docks! Glad to know! (probably the same time Pink was accused of cheating )

So still not a big fan of pirates because of the "cheating" accusations.

I think I would write VMK and ask their names, so you don't play with them again, afraid they would lie again.
Also wish VMK would somehow ban these players for lying. What a waste of time for the staff to review and anxiety it causes you.
Often 24 hours isn't a big deal not to play, but when there is something special like on Presidents' Day, it would be terrible to miss something that is for a limited time.

Well so far the seas are calm, been choosing my games carefully I agree though I believe there is a rule about false reporting could get you banned. VMK staff has enough virtually things to worry about at the moment, (like angry traders who worked hard for red HKDL and black mansion that are now released) I don't want to trouble, wrote explaining hope they reviewed and removed it from my record. I'll seek revenge on these players at sea rather than contacting them. and revenge is usually sweet just as long as they don't get angry again...perhaps i should just fight by running away if i see them on dock.

i am very bad at pirates but i do play it. I only play with my friends and my friends friend's. Sometimes other ppl join and say u stink when we win. But nothing else really happens.
