I just want to be sure so I thought I'd ask here...since DIS'ers know more than many CM's

My use year is Oct 2006. So I can bank my 101 points I have available at 100 percent up until March 2007. If I bank them then I can still make a ressie for 2008 right? I don't have to wait for Oct 2007 to make the reservation, just the reservation has to be after Oct 2007 right? make any sense????

Yes, your can bank them and book 2008 as long as you meet the 11 or 7 months windows. So if you bank 101 into the 07UY, this will allow you to book Jan thru Sept of 2008......before the next UY because after that you will loose any 06 banked points, which would be 101 banked.

Your Oct '06 points can be used for stays from now until 9/30/07. If you bank those points, you can use them for stays from 10/1/07 through 9/30/08.

You can book your home resort as early as 11 months prior to your checkout date and other resorts at 7 months prior to checkout, regardless of your Use Year. All that matters is that you have the points in your account that are valid for your vacation dates.
