Banking transferred points question

With the new rule, I am wondering this:

If I have a Feb. UY can I have points transferred into this UY and bank them into the next UY? I have already missed my banking deadline, so how would this work? We changed a trip and I had points transferred into my 07 UY, but I will need more points so I am hoping I can do it this year since MS won't let me have more points transferred into my 07 year now.

Transferred points may be banked- so that shouldn't be a problem. Reportedly, banking deadlines have been ignored by MS in the past regarding transferred points.

However, you may not be allowed to accept another transfer during this Use Year since you have already transferred into your account. Even though you apparently had points transferred into your 2007 Use Year- it was done in your 2006 Use Year and I don't think you will be allowed to make another transfer until after February 1, 2007.

You should certainly check with MS before accepting my answer, but I think the one-per-Use Year limitation applies to the contract itself regardless which specific Use Year you use to accept the transfer.
