Up until now we always used all our points and never had to worry about banking. This year I have 172 points left in my 2003 use year. Since I have an October use year I know I can bank all those by March 31st.

If I bank them all can I borrow them back if we decided to make another trip this year?

Hi, kdonnel. Unfortunately, once points are banked they can not be brought back into the their original use year.
However, you can borrow 2004 use year points to use this year, then use your 2003 points next year.

Hope that makes sense...

The way I keep it straight is that a point can only be manipulated once.

Manipulated means bank, borrow or transfer.

So once a point has been banked, borrowed or transfered, it can only be used.

I always look at it as "points" to be used a given year. If I bank 172 from 2003 into 2004, then I just have to remember to use at least 172 in 2004. You can still borrow 2004 points to make any reservations prior to October if you choose to.
