I bought resale this past Dec and I am banking my 2018 pts into 2019 my use year is August. My question is after I use those pts can I bank the extra pts into 2020 and if so do I have to wait till august 2020 to use them?

You can bank your unused 2019 points into 2020, but your 2018 points will have used up its one time bank/borrow movement. Points can only be banked/borrowed once.

Once moved into 2020, the points formerly known as 2019 UY points will be valid from August 2020-July 2021.

If you bank your 2018 points they will expire on 7/31/2020. The last day those banked points can be used to pay for a stay is 7/31/2020. So no, you can't bank any leftover banked points originally from 2018 again.

Yes. With an August use year, your banking deadline for the 2019 points is March 31,2020. The banked points would be valid for stays between 8/1/2020 and 7/31/2021.

Points are eligible to either be banked or borrowed - once. After either banking or borrowing then they are stuck in the UY you moved them to and have to be used before the end of that UY. What can help is to just write out the dates associated with points when they are current. August UY 2018 points would normally be eligible for stays from Aug 1, 2018-July 31, 2019. If they were borrowed into your 2017 UY then they would be eligible for stays from August 1, 2017-July 31, 2018. Or if banked into your 2019 UY, as you are talking about, they will be eligible for stays from August 1, 2019 - July 31, 2020 and if not used for a stay during that time they will expire.

Your 2019 points if just left as current 2019 points would be eligible for stays from Aug 1, 2019-July 31, 2020. If banked they would then be moved into your 2020 UY and eligible for stays from Aug 1, 2020-July 31, 2021 and if not used for a stay during that time they will expire. Or you could borrow them if necessary back to your 2018 UY and they would be eligible for stays from Aug 1, 2018-July 31, 2019 and if not used for a stay during that time they would expire.

Just piggybacking here. Banked my Dec 2017 UY to 2018. When is the lastest I can use those banked points, November 30th? I knew all this when we started all this and just can’t remember.

They can now be used for stays between Dec 1, 2018 to Nov 30, 2019.
