okay, we currently have 40 points borrowed against next year for our upcoming vacation. we are seriously considering buying an add on to AKL to take advantage of the developer point special.
My question is if we take the developer points and used those points for our exixting ressie, would MS allow us to put those borrowed points back to out 2008 use year?
I konw typically we cannot i think but does that rule apply when buying an add on?

NO.

Banking, Borrowing and Transferring are all final activities and can not be undone.

Actually, I had borrowing undone ONCE, but it was very special circumstances.

I called to complete a day-by-day ressie, and got the *LAST* room. As the Advisor was borrowing points from the next UY, and then went to book the room, it had vanished. Another Member got it. She said she could reverse my borrowing, because her screen was still open, and the room was not available.

BTW, I waitlisted and got the room a month or so later

That is the only case of unborrowing I have heard of.

first off,
I am proud to be a new member of AKL

Second i just got off the phone with my guide and the supervisor in charge of AKL at MS and they both confirmed that because of the circumstances they will allow the unborrowing of point for the use of developer points for upcoming trips. again
