Banking points?

I have two reservations for this year. For one of the reservations, I had to borrow points. For the other one, I did not. If I cancelled the reservation where I did NOT borrow points, could I bank those points? Or is it like a one way transaction for the use year- if you borrow into that year, you can't bank for that year? Thanks.

The only points that could not be banked are the points borrowed from the next Use Year (and any points that had already been banked). When any reservation is cancelled more than 30 days ahead, all points used are returned to the account to be used for another reservation (based on availability) or banked (subject to normal banking rules).
