Banking points before the use years?

Hi have an April use year and cancelled a reservation that was booked for check in on April 12th 2020. I see the points are now returned to my 2020 use year. They are not in a holding account because I canceled 30 days before.

The option to bank these points doesn’t seem to be there as a button on the website. Is this because I can only bank the 2020 use year points starting on April 1, 2020?

You can only bank current UY points. Since you are not yet in your 2020 UY, those points are not yet bankable.
