I was reasing a post on the budget board and someone said they pay a deposit on their onsite ressie and then continue to make monthly payments until the trip time. They also said that they pay over the amount of the ressie so they will have a credit when they get there. They said they use this credit to pay for meals etc at their resort. Can you do this at FW??? I was just curious.

The $ go to CRO or WDTC so I don't see why not. I've done it in the past for CSR, and did mail in about 1/2 of what we owed on cabins in a couple of installments, but paid the rest when we arrived. I'll be sending in $ soon for our April camping trip.

FYI....when you call the 407 WDISNEY #, one of the options they now give you is "To make a payment on an existing reservation, press ___". I don't remember what the number was! I would always call and make payments over the phone (or at least I did with DC had a toll free #!!).

For our last two trips we have made payments twice a month (each pay period for us) using our debit cards. Making small payments (the total amount divided by the number of pay periods before our trip) seems to lessen the anxiety we have about carrying sufficient money with us on our trip. It is sure a nice feeling to have the room or camping space prepaid. We have never overpaid for the purpose of applying money to other expenses so we have no "expert advice" in this area. Have a great trip and relax!!:wave2:
