banking/borrowing

Hi everyone im looking for a little advice, we own 220 points we have borrowed 11 points for 2011 vacation so 2012 we have 209 points to use.
To go to our home resort and book at the 11 month window we would need to borrow from 2013 points but if we switch to a cheaper hotel (points wise) at the 7 month window can we bank those borrowed points ?

Any advice would be great.

Banking or borrowing are final transactions so you can't bank borrowed points. However there is nothing to stop you banking some of the normal points if you swap resorts at the 7 month mark.

Just make sure they use the borrowed points first.
