Since Dec is more available for AKV, can you typically buy those contracts for less (supply/demand), or does that not really impact the price?

There doesn't seem to be much if any affect on pricing. It doesn't affect the booking windows etc so no difference in core use between a Dec UY or any other. I'd hazard that most people don't think about cancellations and how to mitigate effects from that possibility.
