banking and use year confusion

weve only been members for 3 years and this part still confuses me

heres what the DVC has for us

we have an aug UY--

so it says for aug 2019 0 points which I know

then says aug 2020 82 points--since we had to borrow some for Jan 2020 trip

so heres where I get confused

the 82 points for aug 2020 need to be banked by the end of march--is this correct

then this aug we will get our 2020 to 2021 points this is correct

I dont know why I cant remember this part--too many dates to keep straight I think

I also have an Aug UY. Those points will need to be banked by Mar 31,2021. You only have 82 for your 2020 UY (2020-2021). Once August rolls around, you dashboard will have the 2020 UY and 2021 UY displayed.

however even if my 2020/2021/don't post till aug I can still borrow from them for our Jan 2021 trip

Jan 2021 will be in your 2020 UY so you will be able to use the 82 points that you have left from 2020 and borrow from 2021. You wouldn't be borrowing or banking the 2020 points.
