We have a Oct use year at BCV and we want to make our reservation in Nov for our next trip home in Oct 2014. I guess my question is I bank my 2013 pts into 2014 and I need to borrow from 2015 when I call to make the reservation do they automatically take from 2015 or do I have to tell them that what I want to do. I will also be transferring this summer if I can for that trip what use year and pts would I need?

An October 2014 stay would be in your 2014 use year so you can used banked 2013, current 2014, borrow 2015. You have to bank the 2013 first before they can make the reservation using those points.

As far as transferring, they would have to be BCV points to use at 11 months and the use year would have to be good for that date of stay.

You've started about 8 threads on this topic, and each time someone has explained it to you. Maybe if you are still confused you should call MS and ask them to walk you through it?

When you call, they will on,y borrow points that are needed to complete the reservation. So, if your banked and current UY points are not enough, they will borrow and you won't need to say anything.

If you also have transferred points, and want those used up first before borrowing your own, then I would definitely make that known when you start.

This cannot be overstated. Transfer point are like finding the elusive "Waldo". Each time I've dealt with transfer points (only twice to be fair), I've had to point them out and ask they be used.

Same as them not showing up in your point total via the website, they seem to somehow hide from MS as well.

How do they find them then ? if you transferred pts in and they don't show how would they know to use them unless they have a special way of finding out
